AUSTRALIA NAME HEAD COACH FOR 2024 WOMEN’S WORLD JUNIORS

MELBOURNE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA - Australian Box Lacrosse is pleased to announce and welcome Daniel Hall as Head Coach for the Australian team that will compete at the 2024 IIJL Women’s World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Utica, New York from August 29- September 2, 2024.

Dan Hall served as Assistant Coach, a role he took on and excelled at during the 2023 & 24 IIIJL Commonwealth Cup and the 2023 IIJL WJLC. He is excited at the opportunity to lead the team and develop women’s Box Lacrosse in Australia.

Dan's playing career started at the Eltham Lacrosse Club, in Eltham, VIC where he played field lacrosse predominately. Hall was a member of the first Australian Senior Box team that competed at the 2003 World Lacrosse Box Championships, formerly known as the World indoor Lacrosse Championship. He was named to the Men's National Box Team again in 2019, traveling with the team to compete in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Hall has also been a member of the Victorian Senior Box Team in 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2023. Hall has been coaching junior teams in the Victoria Box League, where he has been instrumental in helping to establish a domestic box lacrosse league for junior players in Australia.
