IIJL President & CEO, Chris Fox, said celebrating lacrosse's heritage and making the archive accessible was a key driver for the project. 

"Far too often we think that just because our content lives on platforms elsewhere our fans will eventually find us," Fox said. "That is simply not the case and we want to make sure that our fans and potential new fans can find us and watch our players perform.
