NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS 2025 IIJL COMMONWEALTH CUP

Australia (Australian Box Lacrosse) and Canada (Canadian Lacrosse League) will compete for the 2025 IIJL Commonwealth Cup. Prior to facing-off for the winner-take-all Final. Canada will take part in a four (4) team Round-Robin against city/state teams from Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth.

Australian Box Lacrosse will continue with the three local teams competing, selecting the best players to represent Australia in the 2025 IIJL Commonwealth Cup Final, further narrowing down the roster for the 2025 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Canada.

Altona Lacrosse Club will host the 2025 IIJL Commonwealth Cup. Altona Lacrosse Club is the only Men's and Women's lacrosse club in Victoria that has full use of its facilities 12 months of the year. The Club has four lacrosse specific playing fields, one of which can be used for night games, and the newly constructed Alan Lewer Box Court with floodlights.

ABOUT

Established in 2019, the inaugural IIJL Commonwealth Cup was scheduled to take place in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in March 2020 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Three years later, the 2023 IIJL Commonwealth Cup took place. For the third consecutive year the IIJL Commonwealth Cup will take place, February 15-18, 2025 and will be hosted by the Altona Lacrosse Club at the beautiful Allan Lewer Box Court.
