Australian Box Lacrosse has opened applications for male players interested in competing at the 2025 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship taking place in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on June 28 - July 4, 2025.

Competing in the 2025 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship represents a significant opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills, gain international experience, and contribute to their country's representation in the sport. Not only does it provide a platform for personal development and team camaraderie, but it also allows players to connect with peers from around the world, fostering friendships and sportsmanship. Such experiences can be pivotal in an athlete’s career, both on and off the field.

Slush Puppie Arena

Opened in 2008, the newly named Slush Puppie Place is a state-of-the-art 5,700 seat, executive suites, and an additional standing-room options for fans to fill the comfortably air-conditioned multipurpose venue to capacity.

During the winter, Moose Slush Puppie Place is home for the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Canadian Hockey league (CHL).

The main-bowl is purpose built for major junior hockey, providing perfect site lines for fast-pace and hard-hitting lacrosse action in the summer. The arena is owned by the City of Kingston and serves as a year-round entertainment destination and hub of community engagement.

International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) was founded in 2016 by Member Nations Canada (Canadian Lacrosse League), and United States (US Indoor Lacrosse). As an independent international association, meaning that the IIJL is not affiliated nor associated with World Lacrosse, the IIJL established and administers the only international box (indoor) lacrosse championships for players twenty-one (21) years of age and younger.

Currently, the IIJL holds four (4) championships annually; IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship, IIJL World U18 Lacrosse Championship, IIJL World U16 Lacrosse Championship, and IIJL Women's World Junior Lacrosse Championship.
